This project replaces and upgrades the existing headworks with influent flow monitoring, a new mechanical fine screen, a stacked-tray grit removal system, a new anoxic/anaerobic selector tank, new non-potable water pumps, and modifying the grade of the plant to provide gravity flow and eliminate the existing Archimedes screw pumps. The design of the Big Gulch WWTP Headworks Upgrade began in 2010. Design is at 95%. We are working to complete the Department of Ecology Loan Agreement and receive their approval to go to bid. Project Managers are Gil Bridges and Dan Hammer.
