In 2011, the District authorized design of improvements at the 112th Street Lift Station due to wet well capacity concerns and the 30-year age of many of the system's components. The design includes a new 10-foot diameter wet well, three submersible pumps, and a new generator. The design has been expanded to include gravity system improvement on 9th Pl W to provide better sewer system access and improve maintenance conditions in the gravity system immediately upstream of the station. Design is anticipated to be completed in 2011; construction and construction management will not begin until early 2012. Project Managers are Dan Hammer, Rick Matthews and Kevin English.
